Maynard intersection gets an upgrade

Do you drive to Maynard on Route 27? For three to four weeks starting in mid-August, you may be rerouted while the town of Maynard adds lights to the Concord Street intersection with Brown and Haynes Streets, just north of the Cumberland Farms convenience store in Maynard.

Glenn Koenig, the Maynard Town Wide Mall webmaster, provides details and a timeline in the Collision Course article.

While this is a Maynard project, the new traffic signal will provide safer passage for Acton residents to and through Maynard. The Acton Exchange editorial staff thanks Glenn Koenig for alerting us to the upcoming disruption (and future improvements).
