A-B boys’ soccer team edges North Andover, advances in tournament

November 9, 2024

November 3, O’Leary Field: Senior co-captain Will McKnight picked a perfect time to score his first goal as a varsity player – a second half tally that gave the Revolution a 1-0 victory over the visiting North Reading Knights in the first round of the MIAA tournament. A-B’s defense took care of the rest, holding their opponents’ offense in check until the final whistle.

Key to the Revs’ win, according to coach Tony Marino, was “a feeling of togetherness, and everyone doing his job.”

On November 5th, The 6-7-4 A-B squad traveled to Danvers to take on the 13-1-4 St. Johns Prep Eagles in the second round.
