April 26, 2025

Watch this space for election results. We will publish them as soon as they are available.

The town election is coming up on April 29, followed by the Annual Town Meeting, which begins on Monday, May 5 and continues on Tuesday, May 6. At the Annual Town Meeting, the town will vote on town and school budgets, zoning changes, and other important issues. Article 7 Authorizing Borrowing for Construction of New Public Works Facility at 14 Forest Road and Article 32 Adopt Leaf Blower Control Bylaw have been much debated in recent months. Both Ballot Question 1 and Article 7 at Town Meeting have to pass for the Public Works Faciity project to move forward.

-If you are already registered to vote, you can vote absentee at the Town Clerk’s office in Town Hall during office hours. The last day and time for walk-in absentee voting is Monday, April 28, at noon.

-If you need transportation to and from Town Meeting, or have kids (ages 4 and up), both transportation and babysitting are available. You can find more information on page 2 of the Annual Town Meeting Warrant.

-In an effort to make Town Meeting accessible, Acton offers reasonable accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Acton (ADA). Please email manager@actonma.gov or call 978-929-6611 by Friday, May 2 at 12:00 noon.
