The Acton Exchange is developing a calendar capacity which we expect to roll out in the coming months. We are looking for a volunteer editor to update the calendar announcements weekly. In the meantime, please email your announcements to the editors at editors@actonexchange.org by Tuesday at noon for consideration for that week’s Bulletin Board.

Celebration of Plant-Based Foods Potluck Picnic

(From the Town Sustainability Office)

We all share one thing that can have a significant impact on climate change: the food we eat. Making changes to your eating habits can be done at your own pace and with little financial investment — but it can have a big climate impact! On Wednesday, July 24th, Energize Acton is once again hosting a community potluck picnic called, “A Celebration of Plant-Based Foods” at the NARA Park Pavilion from 6:00-8:00 p.m.. All are welcome to come share a plant-based dish! You do not need to be a vegan or a chef to join. Stop by to eat delicious food and learn with your neighbors about how our diets can create a huge impact for our environment.
